Bio

Prior to joining the staff at Schoolcraft, Alumbaugh spent 2 season as the head coach at St. Clair County Community College, accumulating a record of 25-8-3. In 2025, Alumbaugh and SC4 had a record of 15-5-1, including winning the MCCAA, the NJCAA Region XII Championship, and the NJCAA Northeast District Title while punching a ticket to the NJCAA Men's Soccer Championship Tournament.

Before his time at St. Clair, Alumbaugh accumulated nearly a decade of coaching experience. At various club teams including some in New Zealand, Ohio, Michigan, and Norway. Alumbaugh was also an assistant and interim head coach at Muskingum University.

Alumbaugh finished his collegiate playing career at division 1 Robert Morris University as a graduate student where he played all 17 games he played in and logged a team high 1,580 minutes that season. Before becoming a graduate transfer, Alumbaugh spent 2 years at Michigan State University. He attended Long Island State University, another division 1 school, out of high school and started in all 17 games as a sophomore, playing 2,000 minutes.

Brian has earned his Master's Degree in Adult Education from Muskingum University and a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology with a minor in coaching from Michigan State University.
