MARYSVILLE, MI – The Ocelots were back in action on Friday in Marysville looking to keep their season alive.
In the 4th inning, the Ocelots found themselves in a 2-0 hole, after GRCC scored 1 in each the 2nd and 3rd innings. With 2 outs and 2 runners on, Hailey McCleary singled down the right field line to score Madison Gray (single) and Sarah Collins (double). Just the next inning, GRCC would score 3 runs, after some errors, to take a stranglehold on the game. Schoolcraft would log 8 hits in the game, 1 from Camryn Keough, 2 from Gray, 1 from Collins, 1 from Savina Olada, 1 from McCleary, and 2 from Amber Burzlaff.
The final score would read 5-2 in favor of GRCC, ending the Ocelots season. Schoolcraft finished their season with a 25-17 record and a 19-11 conference record.
