Briana Young Named NJCAA 1st Team All-American

LIVONIA, MI -The NJCAA announced their 2025-26 women's basketball season All-American awards earlier today.  Briana Young would find her name on that list, listed as a 1st team All-American. Throuhgout her freshman campaign, Young averaged 15.6 PPG on 52.6% shooting from the field and 72.8% shooting from the free throw line. Along with averaging 15.6 PPG, Young also cleaned up the glass, averaging 7.8 RPG and average about 1 assist per game, at 0.9. She would have a season-high of 31 points that came in a win over Jackson College (1/28) and would register 9 double-doubles on the season.
