- Mott would get the scoring going early by registering an RBI single in the bottom of the 1st.
- Schoolcraft would take the lead in the top of the 3rd by putting up 2 runs, thanks to an RBI double by Tony Mendez, scoring Tashawn Eatmon, and a wild pitch, bringing home Mendez.
- The Ocelots would not hold the lead for long as an error would bring home the tying run for Mott in the bottom of the 3rd.
- Mott would take the lead again in the 5th as a double and a single would bring home 2 runs for the Bears.
- In the top of the 8th, Shane Carnes would hit a single to right center that would tie the game by bringing home Jace Walerski and Braylon Schroeder.
- Mott would get the bases loaded in the bottom of the 9th following an intentional walk and a hit by pitch would end the game.
