GAME HIGHLIGHTS (FIVE INNINGS)

  • Lansing would jump out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the 1st on 3 hits in the inning.
  • With the bases loaded in the bottom of the 1st, the Ocelots would get a run back as Braylon Schroeder would work a walk to bring home Tashawn Eatmon.
  • In the bottom of the 3rd, the game would become tied on 1 swing of the bat as Juan Suarez would take a pitch out to right-center for a 2-run home run.
  • Lansing would retake the lead in the top of the 4th with a run before Schoolcraft would take control of the game with 5 runs on 3 hits in the bottom half.
  • The game would end early in the 5th as Schoolcraft would score 7 runs in the frame with the game ending on a double from Redd Beatty that plated Shane Carnes and Braylon Schroeder.

  • Like game 1, the Stars would strike first with 2 runs in the top of the 1st  but Schoolcraft would respond with 2 of their own in the bottom half as a bases loaded walk and a GIDP would bring the Ocelot runner's home.
  • Things would take a turn in the top of the 3rd as Lansing would plate 12 runs in the frame to take a 14-2 lead.
  • Over the 4th and the 5th inning, Lansing would score 7 more times to make it 21-2.
