Clyde and Murphy Named NJCAA All-Americans

LIVONIA, MI- The NJCAA has announced their All-American teams for the 2025 women's soccer season. Among those announced, Jessica Clyde and Brianna Murphy would see their names listed.

On the season, Jessica Clyde would appear in 16 games, making 16 starts. Clyde would register 11 goals, with 4 of them being game winning goals and also logging 10 assists. Clyde registered a season high 5 points in a win over St. Clair County Community College in which she scored 2 times and had 1 assist. Clyde would score 2 goals in the NJCAA Region 12 tournament, 1 in each game, in a tournament she would be named MVP of. On top of being named the Region 12 Tournament MVP, Clyde's efforts all season long would earn her being named to the All-Region Team and to the All-MCCAA 1st Team. This is not the first time Clyde has been named an All-American as an Ocelot as she was named to the 1st Team for her efforts last season. 

Brianna Murphy came into her freshman season rolling. In her first career collegiate game, Murphy would score 2 times in a 3-0 win over Neosho County. On the season, Murphy would score 12 goals and log 15 assists as she would appear and start in all 18 games on the season. Murphy would score a season-high 2 goals in a game 2 more times, both times coming in wins over Lake Michigan and Grand Rapids. Brianna would register 5 points in the NJCAA Region 12 tournament, a performance that would see her be named to the All-Region Team. On top of the All-Region team, Murphy's season long efforts would see her be named to the All-MCCAA Team and the MCCAA All-Freshman team.
