Women's Soccer Has Eight Awarded Post-Season Honors
LIVONIA, Mi - The MCCAA and the NJCAA Region XII released their 2025 women's soccer post-season awards that featured eight different Ocelots.
Jessica Clyde: Coming off a season of being named MCCAA Freshman of the Year, Clyde would follow that up with being named All-Region and 1st Team All-MCCAA
In 15 games for the Ocelots, Clyde would record 11 goals, including 4 game winners, and 10 assists on her way to 32 points.
Brianna Murphy: The freshman forward would be named to 3 different teams, All-Region, 1st Team All-MCCAA and the All-Freshman team.
Starting all 17 games for the Ocelots, Murphy would score 12 goals, 3 game winners, and record 15 assists for 39 points on the season.
Naomi Bongero: Like Murphy, the freshman from Brighton, Naomi Bongero, would be named to the All-Region team, 1st Team All-MCCAA and the All-Freshman team.
Rotating between holding down the back line and up top on the attack, Bongero would record 4 goals, 1 being a game winner, and 5 assists for 13 points in her freshman campaign.
Ella Vandemergel: Like the previous 2, the freshman forward would be named to the All-Region Team, 1st Team All-MCCAA and the All-Freshman team.
Spread across 17 games in the navy and gold, Vandemergel would put 12 balls in the net and record 4 assists for 28 points in the 2025 season.
Raina Lutz: Continuing a streak of freshman earning honors, Raina Lutz would be named to the All-MCCAA 2nd Team.
Appearing in and starting all 17 games, Lutz would score 5 times with 1 being a game winner and helping on 7 other goals for 17 points.
Ashlee Sells: Joining Bongero in the center of the back line, the other freshman of that duo would be named Honorable Mention All-MCCAA
On top of keeping Elianna Hassan's life easy in the net, Sells would also tack on 1 assist for the season.
Kaiyah Gromadzki: The 2nd sophomore getting awarded, Gromadzki would be named to the All-MCCAA Honorable Mention team.
Appearing in 16 games while making 15 starts, Kaiyah would score 2 times and record 2 assists for the Ocelots in her sophomore year.
Eliana Hassan: The freshman keeper would be named to the All-MCCAA Honorable Mention team.
Starting 16 games as a freshman, Lulu would log 1,248 minutes while keeping a 0.65 GAA and making 36 saves, compiling to a 13-2 record.
